| La Masseria Sacerdote è una costruzione tipica del '600, costruita con blocchi di pietra calcarea, priva di intonaco esterno ed interno che sorge lungo la strada campestre che va da Castellana alla provinciale Conversano-Putignano, in provincia di Bari ove termina nei pressi della chiesa rupestre "Madonna dei Tetti".
Nata come fabbricato rurale per ricovero di animali è dotata di ampi locali tutt'ora conservati nella loro primitiva forma senza alterazione alcuna.
Si racconta che sia stata sucessivamente abitata a lungo da un sacerdote.
Ancora oggi, infatti, è contraddistinta come "Masseria Sacerdote" e "Viale del Sacerdote" viene chiamata la strada campestre percorrendo la quale vi si accede.
La masseria è collocata in un'area di verde agricolo e costituisce un'oasi di tranquillità che consente un assoluto riposo.
Rispetta completamente l'ambiente e non ha contatto alcuno con forme di vita moderna.

The masseria “Sacerdote” is a typical 17th century building made from blocks of limestone which has been left in its natural state inside and out. It is located near the stone "Madonna dei Tetti" church, off the country lane which runs from Castellana to the main Conversano-Putignano road in the province of Bari.
Once designed to house livestock, the building has recently been restored, with great care taken to preserve its original character and stone.
It is said that the building takes its name from the fact that a priest (“sacerdote” in Italian) once lived there. Today the farmhouse is still known as the "Masseria Sacerdote", and the road which leads to it is the "Viale del Sacerdote".
The masseria is situated amid groves of cherry, olive and almond trees in a beautiful unspoilt countryside setting near Conversano (Puglia) in the south-east of the Murge. It is a genuine oasis of peace, ideal for total rest and relaxation and for getting away from the stress of modern city life.
